Event Description
Join us at the Port of Pesaro for World Boating Day 2025, a morning of open-door activities celebrating the sea, the people and the businesses that power the boating industry, both locally and globally.
With the support of the Central Adriatic Port Authority and over a dozen local organisations, the event will feature:
• Inclusive diving and underwater activities by Sub Tridente;
• Presentation of the new crane by Lega Navale Italiana, enabling people with disabilities to safely access boats;
• Historic photo exhibition curated by the Volpini family, showcasing images that shaped the commercial port of Pesaro;
• Presentation of Azzurra III, the legendary sailing yacht berthed at Cantiere Rossini, with a talk by the shipyard director on the legacy of Azzurra I, Italy’s first America’s Cup challenger;
• Local sailing clubs introducing visitors to the sport of sailing and sharing the passion that inspires a new generation of sailors;
• The Italian Red Cross presenting their sea rescue boat and raising awareness on maritime safety;
• Technical demonstrations, special offers, and meet-and-greets with local nautical suppliers and clubs.
• Canottieri Pesaro Williams showcase its 70-year rowing tradition with a photo and video exhibition, indoor rowing trials and sea outings with expert instructors.
Take a behind-the-scenes tour of Cantiere Rossini, the Adriatic’s most advanced refit facility. Walk through its fully insulated, climate-controlled sheds purpose-built for repainting large yachts.
Stroll the yard's exclusive palmed marina, admire all the yachts freshly refitted for the season and see what makes this shipyard stand out in the world of refit.
Participating organisations will proudly display the World Boating Day flag, creating a vibrant, connected waterfront route for all to explore.
